Sonshine Kids is a fun ministry and outreach of Community Christian Church!
Application Process:
Personalized Visit Including Your Student. Call to set up a visit 8:45-9:15 for A.M. Session Or 12:45-1:15 for P.M. Session Mon.-Wed. Other times can be arranged with Mrs. Davinna Beale (317) 797-9472 (cell) or Community Christian Church (317)861-5407

- Please submit a copy of your child’s immunization record before he/she attends (does not have to come with your registration forms).
Registration/Deposit Fee (non refundable)
Early registration discounted fee will be $90 until March 15th
Registration fee $100 after March 15th
Registration fee $110 after June 1st
Monthly fee: $135 due the first week of school each month.
Discounted sibling monthly fee: $125
Payments can be made by check, cash or via emailed invoice.
Automatic payments can be set up.
Payments can be paid on orientation night in August.
Extended Lunch Session: offered daily from 11:30-1:00 p.m.
Every day: Fall $60/monthly payment if you sign up for the whole semester (close to $6 a day)
OR Choose 1 or 2 days a week at a rate of $8 daily (if you pay up front for the semester.)
OR sign up the week prior for $10 daily, if spots are available.

Two primary focuses:
1. God's love for each individual:
His care for us, we can talk to Him anytime, and He is always with us.
2. Academcis: preparing students for Kindergarten with specific considerations toward the student's next step ie public school (Southern Hancock County, Triton, Warren), private school or homeschooling. We have some students who are homeschooled for K but attend our oldest age group class for fun group learning and socialization. Contact Mrs. Beale with any questions.
Our Pre-Kindergarten class is for children that are 4 years old by August 1st or turning 6 next May-July. These children will be entering Kindergarten the following year. Students in this group are learning how to function with classmates in a group setting.
Our 3s (with a fall birthday) class is for children that are 3 years old by August 1st. These children will have one year of preschool and then move to the Pre-Kindergarten class the following year. We have found great success with the three year olds attending preschool three days a week. That third day gives the repetition to reinforce some information they may otherwise not retain. We are different from other preschools in offering a third day for 3s, but we have found great benefit and success in this offering.
Our 3s (with a spring semester or summer birthday) & a few 2 & 3/4th's class is for children who will be 3 by August 1st or by September 15th. These children will have more songs, active learning, outside time and very little table time the first semester. The second semester, they will be able to do a little more academic work with a focus on hands on activities.
Our Extended Session is to help Pre-K students particularly prepare for the current five full days a week kindergarten programs. Younger students are welcome in this program as room is available. Students bring their own lunch. This is an optional program and runs from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.
During this sessions students do additional art, games and hands-on activities.
Sonshine Kids Preschool has classes every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Morning students can be dropped off between 8:15 am - 8:45 a.m. and picked up at 11:30 a.m.
Parents are welcome to stay and play awhile on the playground after dismissal if desired.
Extended Lunch Session Pick-Up at 1:00
We generally follow CSCSHC -Southern Hancock School Corporation's school calendar for vacation days.
Canceled days will not be made up.
